Training director: Dr. Liliana Cane, Ph.D.

dr-liliana-cane-flippedDr. Liliana Cane, Ph.D., is a psychologist and the founding director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Montreal. She has been a practicing psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, coach, teacher and psychotherapy supervisor for more than 35 years. Multilingual and with a strong transcultural approach to therapeutic communication, she has taught in Universities and lead workshops for clinical organizations in South, Central and North America, and in Europe.

Dr. Cane now has her own private practice. She has worked in hospital settings, where she developed and directed specialized clinical programs. She has manifested her commitment to the highest standards of care through her daily clinical activities, her training of psychotherapists, and her service in the Board of Directors of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec, which lasted for more than a decade.

Dr. Cane adheres to Milton H. Erickson’s view that we have the potential to confront all life challenges with our own inner resources. The psychotherapist’s task is to simply stimulate the client’s creative and adaptive potential.

The IMHEM

The Milton H. Erickson Institute of Montreal is accredited by the Milton H. Erickson Foundation in Phoenix (USA) since 1990. It has been contributing to the advancement of clinical hypnosis and Ericksonian psychotherapy for over 25 years.
